Gorgeous Georges Studio is the creative playground of Belgian illustrator Caro D’hooge.

With a background in interior design from KASK in Ghent and more than 16 years of experience in interior and furniture design, her work moves between illustration and space. Line, rhythm and composition form the basis of a visual language that explores the relationship between drawing, objects and interiors.

The birth of her son in 2015 marked a turning point, bringing her back to the most essential element of her practice: drawing. What started as an intimate, small-scale exploration gradually evolved into Gorgeous Georges Studio, founded in 2019.

Today, the studio develops illustration projects for publications, exhibitions and spatial contexts. In 2026, the practice expands into murals and spatial collaborations, exploring how illustration can move beyond the page and become part of architecture, furniture and interior environments.
